PLEASE ENSURE LARGE ITEM FOR PICKUP IS PLACED AT THE CURB FIRST THING FRIDAY MORNING, WITH YOUR CONTAINERS.  DRIVERS MARK HOMES WITH LARGE ITEMS SITTING OUT, AND RELAY THAT LIST OF HOMES TO THE LARGE ITEM PICKUP CREW.

Please also note that due to COVID-related staffing shortages, WM has had some issues maintaining consistency in these pickups.  They have authorized the normal trash crew to collect large items that are manageable by 1 or 2 people and can be placed in the regular trash truck!

Guidelines

 

Bulky item clean up (One item per home per month)

For additional items (more than the one allowed), call customer service at (800) 631-3301 at least 24-hours prior to pickup to arrange for and pay for the extra items to be taken

1st Friday pick up day monthly

All items must be able to be lifted by 2 men

Items over 6ft should be cut in half.

Pick up is done by a separate (rear load) truck

 

Items that will be collected include :

 

Carpet (up to 4’ length, rolled & tied)

Electronics

Furniture (mattresses must be wrapped in plastic)

Appliances (All appliance doors MUST be secured shut) – No Freon

Basketball goal (cut in half-concrete removed)

BBQ Grill (propane tank removed)

Push mower (gas/oil removed)

2 tires (off the rims & will be considered One item for collection)

 

 

 

Unacceptable items include :

 

Hazardous Waste material

Freon items

Remodeling/Construction debris

Yard waste

Additional bags of household trash
